About Me

I find it a great privilege to be alongside you as you build a stronger sense of self and more fulfilling life. My therapy journey began in my late twenties when I began experiencing physical symptoms of anxiety that became unbearable. In therapy I learned to relate to myself compassionately and find peace and self-acceptance.

My four-year psychotherapy diploma in Transactional Analysis from an Integrative Perspective is complemented by various ongoing trainings that I attend; examples include trauma-informed practice, understanding neurodiversity, the therapeutic use of psychedelics, and anti-oppressive practice in the therapy room. For relationship and couples therapy I draw on both Transactional Analysis and my training in the Imago technique. I am currently enrolled in a year long Somatic and Interactive Trauma training with Dr. Ralf Vogt of the Leipzig Trauma Institute, and regularly attend psychotherapy conferences both in the UK and overseas.

Alongside my psychotherapy career I have over fifteen years of experience in higher education as a cancer researcher, biomedical science lecturer and mentor. I have played competitive sport at an international level and have an interest in the mind-body connection in this context. I currently volunteer delivering athlete wellbeing support for the England roller derby training squad.

I am a Member of the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP) and Trainee Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) in advanced clinical training towards full registration. I adhere to the codes of ethics of both bodies. I am in regular clinical supervision and a part of the Professional Development Group at TA East. I am also a member of the International Integrative Psychotherapy Association (IIPA).
